SANDRA & JAUME

We can not be more than grateful with this couple that completely trusted our ideas and recommendations, daring to perform a different, unconventional wedding full of color, tasty flavors and lots of fun.

Sandra & Jaume are among these couples who transmit a lively energy, overflow with joy and their knowing looks are enough to understand each other.

They met on New Years Eve in the fashionable disco of their city, and after 16 years together and to give fruit to two precious children decided to celebrate a great party.

Both wished a dynamic dinner and so they chose a finger-food banquet with delicious thematic stations prepared by Ainere catering: Iberian ham cutter, Mallorcan food point, BBQ corner, sweets buffet and a wide variety of canapés for all palates.

To achieve a relaxed atmosphere, yet with movement, we combined bamboo chairs with small tables, dressed in fuchsia tablecloths -for the less younger ones- and chill-out style lounge furniture for the truly young. Corners curiously decorated with carpets, handmade cushions and details of many colors but in elegant harmony.

We also added some wooden tables made of electric cable spools to complete the set up.

All the preparations were carried out in the Monnaber estate at the top of the Sierra de Tramuntana, and although we have done several weddings there the beauty of the surroundings does not stop surprising us always. It is undoubtedly an ideal place for a destination wedding, but also for the residents of the island.

The decorative theme was the “full color” with the Magenta as the main tone and rustic elements that harmonized with the environment. The variety of flowers used coordinated with the colors of the chosen textiles.

Sandra wore Pronovias with a bouquet of fuchsia garden roses and hanging ribbons on the hilt and Jaume wore a stylish Uomo suit with color detail, matching the bride, on the flower buttonhole on the lapel.

For the best friends of the bride we prepared some wrist corsages made by natural flower bracelets, and the pages carriedMallorcan baskets decorated with fresh flowers.

The ceremony was officiated by an intimate friend of the couple who made everyone laugh with the lived anecdotes, although some tears were also shed with the emotional readings of friends.

Logs benches and cushions were the seats at the ceremony, which took place under the oak trees of the forest adjacent to the property.

Here the fuchsia, pink and orange tones predominated and the altar was made up of an arch made with trunks and a rain background of ribbons in these same colors. The upper part was adorned with a large garland of matching flowers, made with pink carnations, roses, and stunning dahlias.

A varied and colorful fresh drinks buffet station cheerfully welcomed everyone; there were bottles of pink water from Solán de Cabras, cava sangria, lavender lemonade, and vermouth with orange crusts of Soller.

As a gift from the bride and groom for the male guests we put custom straw hats with the words “Avui will be a great day” and for the girls multicolored pai pai fans that colored all the attendees.

The “coolest moment”  of the night was the Surprise Dance that the couple prepared thanks to the help of a choreographer that we recommend.

Undoubtedly it was a great day full of love … and color!
