love without borders

RITA & PAUL

This couple shows that love can unite everything.

Originally from countries as disparate as Russia and USA, Rita & Paul fell in love with/in Mallorca when they came to practice mountain sports such as pscicobloc, climbing and trekking.

They decided then to return two years later to consolidate their union in a “Destination wedding” with their closest family and friends and to show them the various beauties of the Mediterranean environment in a unique experience for them all.

They requested our help, and Chillmeout organized for them, the wedding and several recreational activities the days before the “Big day”

Day 1- Boat trip by the Tramuntana coast to a secluded beach, where they enjoyed sangria and paella.

Day 2- Trekking and picnic in the mountain.

Day 3- Visit to a local winery, with tasting of varieties grown on the island and subsequent tasting of Mallorcan tapas.

Day 4- The big day – On this very special day we managed all the logistics of the event, which was held in the cozy farmhouse Muleta de Ca’s hereu.

We were also in charge of all the decoration made according to the couple’s wishes.

Joy and color were the “input” of the decoration.

The ceremony, held with the beautiful views of the port of Soller, featured a multicolored arch of natural flowers and an embroidered Manila shawl, a detail that reminded them the traditional Russian folk costumes, with much the same resemblance to the Spanish ones.

The bride wanted a bouquet with a tropical touch with orange orchids and fuchsia details. We reproduced a model that he sent us, but combining it with the other flowers used so as to follow a common stylistic pattern.

The bride’s bridesmaids wore simple and eye-catching peach orange outfits with matching flower bouquets in the same shades.

An intimate friend of the bride featured a singular “Bride-men” wearing orange pants and a bow tie, also accompanied by a matching bouquet. He was without a doubt the most funny and original touch that all appreciated.

Then they enjoyed the exquisite canapés of the catering La alacena de Mallorca in a relaxed and comfortable aperitif, thanks to the assembly of our comfortable lounge furniture located in the pool area.

For the setting of the dinner we had a long imperial table in a rustic style with matching wooden chairs and adorned with a “Rainbow” decoration where the flowers were coordinated in combination with the glasses for water, forming a cheerful fan of color.

They enjoyed an appetizing BBQ buffet with prawns from Soller, fish, meat and multiple salads, and a variety of mini desserts.

The speeches were very moving but the “wedding cake” moment was very emotional as they explained the symbolism of the cake, which was made by the women of the family following the Russian tradition with a recipe from the family.

Planning a wedding from a distance without even coming to Mallorca for a day, with so many details and events to delegate requires a lot of trust and we will never tire of thanking couples like Rita & Paul who left in our hands so many wishes to fulfill.

This is our main commitment: to achieve and carry out the couples’ wishes and if possible, as in this case, exceed their expectations!

The report photos from Katya Muhina @purlitas were a wonderful discovery.

With a very special style, many of her photos are like paintings where the composition, balance and use of color become a revelation. Thanks for sharing them.
