in a beautiful villa...

BRITT & DANI

In the summer of 2006 Britt arrived from Holland to complete her practical training in a prestigious hotel of Port of Soller, and here she met Dani.
Ten years afterwards, and completely sure that Destiny had joined them forever, she did not hesitate for a second when he proposed. It was then when they contacted us to share the big wedding news.
In our first meeting we visited the estate where they wanted to held the celebration. It was just perfect! We began the wedding planning right there. They never thought about the so many things and decisions that had to be made but, stepwise, we shaped-up ideas and decoration following their preferences.
What they wanted was a “celebration in white”, with sheer joy as the sole motivation. With that in mind we decided to create two well-differentiated areas, where colour would mark a difference.
The ceremony was held outside the beautiful villa, located in the Soller outskirts. In this area we kept the monochromy of the guests’ clothing –all dressed in white-, using exclusively white flowers in combination with some touches of green.
Wooden benches, planks atop tree logs, were placed on both sides of the nuptial corridor, signalled by white petals. Next to each ‘bench’, typical Mallorca glass bottles (used by their families to make ‘hierbas’) were decorated with white wild flowers as well.
This picturesque, yet elegant atmosphere, where an arc of flowers and branches featured as the altar, witnessed their mutual “yes, I do” amidst tears and clapping from their relatives and friends. The floral decoration of the arc had an asymmetric composition and was made using Antirrhinum, Viburnum, Roses, Eustoma, Limonium and white Aster, combined with other varieties.
A lovely multicolour flower bunch in the hands of the bride contrasted with the remaining of the deco and emphasized her protagonism. We decided to create a “Joy Bouquet” indeed and Britt was radiant in her matching-flowers crown and bride bouquet.
This detail was the starting point for the rainbow explosion prepared inside the venue, where each corner was dressed in multi-coloured elements combining Blue, Violet, Rose, Orange, Fuchsia, Yellow and Green.

Wreaths made of colour little lights, colour-laced trees, overflowered centrepieces, colour tapes in lamps, chairs and serviettes, coloured candleholders, espadrilles and hats, coloured ‘candy bar buffets’ and much more…”Colour, joy and happiness” prolonged the eve till dawn.
