A perfect sunny ...
...wedding day in Fornalutx
ELISABETH & JAMES
It was truly pleasurable to help this young couple. They wished all their guests to have a good time and maximum enjoyment.
It was one of those weddings where nothing was missing: A perfect shiny sunny day in a marvellous venue, the Monnaber finca in Fornalutx; a carefully chosen decoration, lots of little details, those that makes the difference, were visible and enjoyable everywhere and at every moment of the celebration; varied and exquisite food, trusted to Ainere catering, … and a handsome couple with a group of friends full of good vibes.
We love daytime weddings because they are longer and, so, light and scenes vary a lot throughout the party given us better chances to add new elements for the decoration.
The ceremony was held at noon, protected by the shade of the oak forest.
The guests’ benches, made out of local tree trunks, fittingly combined with the surroundings.
Preceding the bride’s entrance, all the bridesmaids of the wedding entourage appeared wearing elegant pale pink dresses.
A moved Lizzy walked along the bridal aisle signalled with trunk pedestals, on top of which there were blue vases filled with bunch of flowers in matching colours and cream tone. By the stone altar, under an arch made out of tree branches decorated with flowers and silk tulle, a nervous James awaited her.
Both sealed their love with a kiss under a rain of hearth-shaped confetti.
After enjoying some fresh drinks and Mediterranean style canapés of the appetizer, the guests could choose -à la carte- whatever they wished to eat during lunchtime.
Striking white cloth umbrellas hanged from the house pergola, under which we setup the banquet table. The big imperial table, dressed with a stone coloured linen tablecloth, was adorned with flowers in the same style as in the ceremony, but here we incorporated the pink colour of the bridal bouquet, which also matched with the hydrangeas of the house garden.
At dessert time, together with the naked wedding cake made of chocolate and wild berries, we brought an ice cream trolley that everyone enjoyed during the entire hot evening… and the dinner as well!
The big Party began then on the house gardens. A friend of the couple sang for both and an innovative “tequila point” guaranteed the guests pace, who tasted and tried the different shots of varied distillates.
Between dance and dance, the wedding attendance relaxed and freshened up in our chill-out lounge furniture.
As sunset arrived, the guests recovered their energy with a tasteful BBQ and a salad buffet. Candles and tree fairy lights shined ‘till the end of this memorable party.
Thank you to both, Cristian Trujillo in charge of the photo shooting and George Peakes that made de video, they left us beautiful images worthy of a wedding movie.
